These are easy to use, single-handed, ergonomic joysticks that provide proportional control of the X, Y, and Z axis of from one to three actuators. Low, medium, and high speed ranges are button selectable. The X, Y, and Z axis speeds are controlled by the tilt angle of the handle and the angle of rotation of the knob.

The XAB-050-XX-01 integrates a two-axis Alpha-Beta goniometer on top of a single-axis linear actuator. The Beta-axis has a travel range of +/- 15 degrees with a rotation height of 50 +/- 0.2 mm.

Van Nuys, CA – — Motion Control – Two new high resolution, high repeatability XY stages have been released by Optimal Engineering Systems, Inc. (OES). The AU200-15×15-01 Motorized Stage (pictured) and the AU200-15×15-04 Motorized Stage are powered by Two-Phase Stepper Motors and have high 0.25 micron resolution and high 1.5 micron repeatability.

The AU200-15×15-04 stage includes Quadrature encoders for position verification. Both stages have a large 3.54 in. x 3.54 in. (90 mm x 90 mm) platform with large open aperture and feature standard 1 mm-per-turn ground lead screws, and precision V-grove and Cross Roller guides.

Van Nuys, CA – — Motion Control – The AT10-60-01, AT10-60-02 and the AT10-60-03 Motorized Elevator Stages have been released by Optimal Engineering Systems, Inc. (OES). The AT10-60-01 (shown) is driven by a Two-Phase Stepper Motor with micro-stepping capabilities. The repeatability is typically +/- 5 micron and typical positional accuracy is 15 micron. The knob for manual adjustment can be replaced with a Quadrature Incremental Optical Encoder for position verification.

Van Nuys, CA – — Motion Control Components – The AT20-100 Motorized Vertical Lift Stage from Optimal Engineering Systems, Inc. (OES) is a very stable, high precision, high load vertical lift stage that can be easily integrated into almost any application. The large 120 mm x 180 mm (4.72 in. x 7.08 in.) drilled and tapped platform has a vertical travel of 100 mm (3.93 in.) and features: 3.315 µ (non- Micro-Step) resolution, 5 µ repeatability, and 15 µ positional accuracy. The precision ground lead screw, precision linear bearings, and the rigid box construction of the moving component of the elevator stage assures smooth, flat (parallel to mounting surface) vertical motion.

Applications for theAT20-100 vertical lift stage include: Testing, inspection, assembly, sampling, laser drilling and machining in a broad range of industrial, medical, semiconductor, and research facilities.

The AT20-100 Vertical Lift Stage (lowered position) is 318 mm (12.52 in.) high. The stage is constructed of black-anodized aluminum alloy and steel shafting, and weighs just 10.5 kg (23.15 lbs). The powerful 2-phase NEMA Stepper and precision ground lead screw offers a high load capacity to 50 kg (110 lbs.) without the concern for cantilevered effects (loss of parallelism), additionally, the moving platform has access from all four sides. The limit switches prevent over travel, a hand knob on the extended motor shaft is for manual adjustments, and the base plate has easy to access holes for mounting.

The AT20-100 Vertical Lift Stage options include: Optical encoder, servo motor, and linear encoder. It is also available as a complete plug-and-play system with a motion controller.
